IMPORTANT changes to NSW COVID Grants
Service NSW has extended certain grants to 28 August 2021 and has expanded the eligibility criteria to include more choice of comparison periods.
For the 2021 COVID-19 business grant, you need to demonstrate that your business has experienced a decline in turnover of 30% or more over a minimum 2-week period from 26 Jun 2021 to 17 Jul 2021 when compared to:
- the same period in 2019, or
- the same period in 2020, or [NEW comparison period available]
- the 2 week period immediately before the lockdown (11 Jun – 25 Jun 2021) [NEW comparison period available]
For the Jobsaver payment and the Micro business grant, you need to demonstrate that your business has experienced a decline in turnover of 30% or more over a minimum 2-week period from 26 Jun 2021 to 28 Aug 2021 (previously 30 July 2021) when compared to:
- the same period in 2019, or
- the same period in 2020, or [NEW comparison period available]
- the 2 week period immediately before the lockdown (11 Jun – 25 Jun 2021) [NEW comparison period available]
