Active Accounting Group for Variety Spin 4 Kids
Last Friday, the Active Accounting Group team jumped in the saddle for a 6 hour bike challenge to raise money for Variety - the children's charity.
The Spin 4 Kids event was a challenging, hands on, team fundraising event to raise money for children in need. Each year, thousands of children who are sick, disadvantaged or have special needs, get support from Variety and we are proud to be involved and do our part to help.
Variety provides support through grants for children and families for things such as:
- Mobility equipment and wheelchairs
- Communication devices and education aides
- Medical items and services
- Therapy services, including occupational therapy and music therapy
Together, all the teams cycled a collective 5,546kms and raised over $40,000 to raise money for kids in need.
